In accordance with current legislation, Polypal will advise customers of the fact that their installation will often fall within the requirements of the Construction, Design & Management (CDM) Regulations 2007 and that a customer should therefore take the necessary actions to ensure compliance with CDM 2007.
CDM 2007 place duties on the client and others, for whom the client is responsible, (e.g. CDM co-ordinator, designer and contractors), to; plan, co-ordinate and manage health and safety issues throughout all stages of a construction project.
Click on the following link for a summary of each duty-holder's roles and responsibilities under CDM 2007.
Polypal is conversant with all aspects of CDM 2007. Our client Account Managers are able to offer customers expert advice and assistance and will be pleased to advise on how the Regulations might apply to a particular project involving the installation of storage equipment.
Polypal may, for the purposes of CDM 2007, act in a capacity as a contractor and have a designer input on construction projects, dependant upon the project. As a dedicated storage system solutions provider, Polypal does not consider that it is resourced to undertake the role of Principle Contractor.
