All users of racking installations will acknowledge that accidental, and very occasionally deliberate, damage to shelving and storage equipment can and does happen. The identification of structural problems resulting from such damage which, if not rectified, can lead to serious damage or injury, should therefore be treated as an important health and safety issue. In line with current legislation, Polypal products are fully guaranteed for a period of twelve months from the date of supply, during which time the company will repair or replace any components identified as defective through design, manufacture or installation.

However, Polypal also recognises that there are a number of customers who require extended warranty and maintenance programmes to ensure that their original equipment remains in a safe and serviceable condition long into the future. In many cases, Polypal is able to provide warranties for such periods, subject to agreement on the type of service required and associated charges. This may take the form of an annual engineer's survey or a regularly scheduled programme of maintenance and component replacement for shelving and storage systems.
