The challenge
Provide tailored storage and display solutions to accommodate a wide range of products, from building equipment to homeware. The store’s size and layout demanded flexible solutions to support both in-store shopping and e-commerce fulfilment.
The requirements
- Design storage solutions that optimise the number of stock keeping units and enhance the visual merchandising of the products.
- Install flexible systems that provide both an in-store shopping experience, but also have the ability to meet the demands of the rapidly evolving e-commerce product range.
- A custom-designed solution to meet the requirements of B&Q’s first Flagship store to combine in-store shopping missions with a digital fulfilment hub as a destination point for Click + Collect orders.
