The service provided is tailored to your requirements, and ranges from an inspection, with a report and advice on how to proceed, to a full service offer, dealing with any repairs and rectification work required.
Inspection Survey:
- The survey will be conducted from ground level and front facing, to the recommendations of Storage Equipment Manufacturer’s Association (S.E.M.A.) “Guide to the Conduct of Racking and Shelving Inspections.”
- The survey will cover damage visible at the point and time of inspection. Initial visual checking of components, supported by specific dimensional deformation where necessary, to the above codes will be carried out and a reported.
- The survey will include all safely accessible areas. Any congested or inaccessible locations will be noted as not surveyed. A return visit can be arranged when the areas are accessible.
- The inspection will be carried out by technically competent Personnel.
- Variations to the pattern of surveying or other delays due to site conditions, access or availability of equipment or personnel will be charged as extras.
Exclusions:
- Items excluded are sprinklers, smoke detection devices, moving parts within a dynamic storage system.
- Polypal is unable to provide or confirm loading information for other racking manufacturer’s equipment.
- Polypal may be unable to identify some racking systems and/or components from other manufacturers.
