In fact, because we build relationships with our customers through our dedicated account managers, we continue to care for and maintain any and all products, even if we didn’t install them.
When you partner with Polypal UK, you can rest assured that our teams will make sure your racking is safe for your staff and customers. One of our SEMA Approved Racking Inspectors (SARI) can perform a full inspection of your racking and provide you with a comprehensive report, where we grade your racking using a traffic light system.
During your inspection, we check for any damage or deflections in your beams, uprights and bracings. Our inspectors verify each of your load notices and ensure all of your loads comply with the relevant weight guidelines. We check the condition of each load and ensure that there are safe pallet clearances around each of them. Besides your racking, we review your whole storage area, checking for obstructions or any other potential hazards so that we can help you maintain a safe working area.
As part of our professional racking inspection service, we provide a comprehensive report that grades the condition of your racking system using a clear traffic light system to highlight the severity of any issues identified:
Green – minor damage: re-evaluate at the next inspection
Amber – moderate damage: repair after next unloading or within four weeks
Red – severe damage: unload and isolate racking immediately
Alongside this detailed assessment, you will receive a competitive quotation for repairing any damage that requires attention. To support ongoing warehouse safety and efficiency, we also include expert recommendations to help you prevent similar issues from arising in the future.
